I just got out of the Corps in May and I tell ya while I was in I took a lot for granted and couldn't wait to get out and have freedom....but now I look back and realize the people I met and experiences I had while in Beaufort, SC at MWSS 273 and Iraq, will never be exceeded. There is no hurry in enlisting, your only 20 years old. You have PLENTY of time left. Go talk to a OSO and let him know your plans. Your in your second year of college so I think your eligible for OCS now. Don't quote me though haha. Just go talk to an OSO and just chat with him/her.

I have a cousin and a friend who are both marines, infantry they have been been to iraq twice, i ask them will i regret it, but they dont give a staight answer.. Once you join and fight in war and see things your aspect changes.. but my friend loves it he feels he is making a difference but my cousin does not he thinks we shouldnt be over there it just depends on what type of person you are

I just got out of the Corps in May and I tell ya while I was in I took a lot for granted and couldn't wait to get out and have freedom....but now I look back and realize the people I met and experiences I had while in Beaufort, SC at MWSS 273 and Iraq, will never be exceeded. Unless you really want to be one of us, if it's truly in your heart to become a United States Marine, and you couldn't live with yourself if you decided otherwise, I would say come join us, but finish College first. There is no hurry in enlisting, your only 20 years old. You have PLENTY of time left. Go talk to a OSO and let him know your plans. Your in your second year of college so I think your eligible for OCS now. Don't quote me though haha. Just go talk to an OSO and just chat with him/her.
