After being put under scientific scrutiny at the Smithsonian, the scientific consensus is now that this skull was, without doubt constructed in the mid 19th century. The testing was even featured on a TV program on the skulls where they were tested at the Smithsonian Institute using the very latest in microscope technology which scientifically verified they were made during the mid 1800's. I saw the Mitchell-Hedges skull in the 1980s it was incredible. I do agree with Hunbatz the native people should have the skulls returned. I for anything that will bring PEACE and HIGHER Conciousness to our troubled earth.

The Mitchell-Hedges Skull (or the Burns skull as it was formerly known as prior to Mitchell-Hedges BUYING it) has been scientifically proven to be fake. It may be an impressive piece of craftsmanship but it certainly is the ancient, magical artifact that it's claimed to be. Mitchell-Hedges wasn't an archaeologist, he was a treasure hunter who used dynamite to excavate his sites lol. His daughter was as big a fraud as he was, don't allow yourself to fall for it.

The skulls' recent manufacture is established beyond doubt. Why for example are all the existing 'crystal skulls' so different from each other in size, style and workmanship? Because different people made them. What's more of a problem for defenders like silly old Hunbatz is that ethnographers have found no actual South American legends which involve crystal skulls. It seems as if this 'legend' Hunbatz evidently believes was no more than 20th century bunkum, concocted to sell books.

the only reason they are saying they were created so long ago is cuz of the advancement in the carving tools that didn't show up til around the 1800s.. i dont need evidence to see the colors i see. most people can't even see the light in the air, and would tell me it doesn't exist. but my personal experience and meditation tells me differently. Truth is, those skulls were made in Europe less than 200 years ago. Their manufacture with modern tools (plus other incriminating facts about their alleged 'discovery') is a matter of public record.
