@skillz1855 No, YOU do your research. Nobody killed anyone at the ring, why? Because ZO6 and ZR1 did lap times with SEMI-SLICK TRACK TIRES, and other cars did laps on normal road tires. Thats why ZO6 and ZR1 did such good laps, add 15-20 seconds to their lap times if you want to compare them with any other car, without track tires, corvette would do 7:35 to 7:40. And GTR or 911 Turbo are much faster than ZO6 or ZR1 around corners, and especially on normal roads. Corvette only works on track.

It doesnt have nearly as much grip as GT-R or 911 in corners, doesnt brake that well, doesnt change direction as good, its not as nice to drive.... and most importantly, its a cheap car, not in terms of price, but generally. Everything about it feels cheap, interior especially. Cheapest possible leather, plastics, fake carbon fiber inserts, has the same steering wheel as fucking Saturn's...poor mans Ferrari.

Other cars, all other cars like 911, F458, Gallardo didnt do official lap times. Those lap times that are taken as official were done by car journalists, amateur drivers when they were reviewing the car. NOT on closed track, NOT in perfect conditions, NOT on track tires. Viper and Corvette were basically set up like racecars.
