@ej67587 no and yes. saleen is like shelby a company/brand that is in collaboration with ford. they usually take a stock car (in this case for instance the mustang gt) and sup it up to their liking XD shelby and saleen usually throw on some supercharger on the stock v8 engine and do some other things like cams, exshaust, intake, ect. and do some body part variations like bumpers and spoilers and so on

Also a side note, only reason why there is a Saleen S281 in this movie, is because Saleen also built the Camaro for TF1.

Actually no, the Saleen S281 that had stared as Barricade is NOT really a Mustang, there's enough changes done by Saleen that makes the cars not to be called a "Mustang".

Chevy really does need a Saleen like product for the Camaro and IROC does not count. The new Camaro is a pretty sweet ride tho but just like the Challenger, the stock model looks kind of soft. What's made the Mustang so successful is the affordability and a huge number of accessory specialists. The Camaro's been dead a while so its going to take time to see some sick add-ons for this car.
