dwarven starting indeed sucks balls now, they totally made it just like all the others and the worst part is that they ruined th cave to karathos (dont know or that name is correct :P) which was the only way to get out of the boring shit, so thats lame! the trolls start is awsome indeed! :D

Dun Morogh is now my favorite starting area. Why? Because they show off the new 'high-tech' gear. Copters armed with rapid-fire rocket launchers? Paratroopers? Friggin fighter-bombers? Just awesome, especially the airfield quests.

Just rolled an alt to see whether the zone has changed. It hasn't. My advice is to take your dwarf and have a friend or Warlock summon you to the starting zone of your choice.

when i was a noob and started playing WoW back in the vanilla days, i leveled up to 30 something, without training my spells. i had all level 1 dawrf paladin spells up to level 30, until a fellow player noticed and showed me where/how to train. haha
