duhhh.....gee....good question sashayjoshy, it actually doesnt make sense, but i see what your asking, what do you imagine would happen?....watch 'skydiver hits a bridge' on u-tube, and you'll see what happens when altitude runs out at 120 miles per hour. to answer your question , they open the parachute if they want to stop flying, and if they are too close to the ground, they hit it and die.

In BASE there is nothing as "to close to the ground". Its either DEAD or alive.
