  • This was one of my favorite Commercials.Still love it and adore Carly Simon...just wished she had actually sung this one.

  • My econ professor asked me to watch this for class.........

  • i have new suggesstion for brand new products by hieinz roman style spigeti sauces and roman style tomato sauces and roman style tomato pastes made from fresh roman or the romma plum or roma pear shape tomatos by heinz ketchup co

  • Whenever I hear this song (sung by Carly Simon) in a supermarket, I think "it's the Heinz ketchup commercial song".

  • I remember an SNL parody commercial using this song. The product was called Swill and it had Bill Murray in a table at a restaurant.

  • My dad told me about this commercial

  • i remember that blonde kid! he was a childs star. good actor and cute!

  • That's Carly's song, but she is not singing.

  • I was in that commercial too! If you look real close, you can see me looking through the kitchen window.

  • lol i remember this commercial.

  • so how old are you now?

  • Carly Simon with the background song...fantastic!

  • That kid on the right, the cute lil freckled red head/

    That was me.

    :)

  • @Rixterkat

I didnt get to meet Casey Kasem though...

  • @Rixterkat that's too funny - any special memories of doing the commercial?

  • @Rixterkat

Too bad it's not still playing maybe you could get royalties or something.

  • @n8tureboy I still get free ketchup for life.

  • @Rixterkat

LOL! Hey that's cool. How do you go about claiming your ketchup? Do you write the company whenever supplies are dwindling and say, Hey! I need more ketchup-PRONTO!

  • @Rixterkat really? thts cool!

  • @Rixterkat

    its true

  • @Rixterkat Yes, very cute ;)

  • @Rixterkat Why don't you prove it buddy? This is the 21st Century where people only care about fame and fortune. Merely saying that you were on there doesn't make it true. Maybe in 1979 it would have been believable, but I don't believe what anyone says today. You are most likely doing this to gain attention and fortune because this was a popular commercial during that time.

  • @Rixterkat If that's the case you put way too much ketchup on that burger.

  • At the end you hear Casey Kasem's voice.
