I Need Help with my Zune 4GB

Had a zune 30 when they first came out, sadly it broke :( so I got a Zune HD. Had an iPhone. Too restricting. Even with cydia fuck an iPod. ;)

try charging it... ha one of my friends allways has problems with hers, and half the time is because it doesnt hold a charge much. this especially will be a problem if you dont know how to turn it off.

if you want to repair without warranty all you have to do is replace the battery, or you could be a dumbass and buy a new one or an ipod witch will also break, i know it happen to me

@iccecoldchris dude i had the same problem...unfortunately i couldnt find a fix for it and i wasnt willing to spend more money for fixing the zune...so i just bought an ipod lol

My zune died today D: It lasted six years so it COULD be the battery (it gets wasted after a long time of recharging it right?) but what the heck, I needed to start fresh anyway...I would give up my phone for my zune >_>

@edwinmaliante It's a 30GB (I guess they're alike since they are still zunes no matter the size) and my zune was "revived" the next day. Not the first time this has happened though >_< Apparently, I had to attempt reseting it for like 20 times so it could respond again '_'

@monkeybutt13100 Use the warranty and reequest for them to send you a box so you can send your zune to their major company and they either will fix it or send you a brand new zune - OR - push the fag that pushed you and force them to give you the money for your zune ;)

Ya mine does this and after a couple hours (meaning half a day or so) it will turn on... it has a mind of its own and works when it wants to work... but i've dropped mine so much onto hard ground and shit i'm amazed it still works so its a good peice of equipment just like i said it works when it wants to works. Just wait and it'll work :D

Well, first of all, look at the top of your zune.theres a likkle switch type thing with a picture of a lock near it. Slide it to the oppisite side its in now, then try to turn it on. if it doesnt, try charging it.

inside there is a ribbon cable you have to take apart the zune to get to it but it might be the simple fix everyone is looking for.

Try this!

Uninstall your Zune music transfer software from your computer, and restart your computer. Than Plug in your Zune back and it should work.

ok well first of alll just try this hold the up button while holding the back button this should just do a soft reset if that does not work then try this hold the up, the left button and the back button this will reset your zune completely

got a red 4gb zune

I went to listen to music and saw it wasn't on there it kept saying something like "music item not found"

so I went to connect the zune with my computer once I did that I took the wire off and then it went blank

I couldn't turn it on..and I kept trying to reset it..and nothing work

I called microsoft and I got a 1yr warranty so they going to give me a knew one...but did you ever found out how to fix that problem or did you get a new one?
