I am a soldier and I am a liberal. Bush has ruined the army's ability to fight effectively and by losing the war in Iraq and by not even addressing the situation in North Korea he has made us appear weak before everyone, which means more fighting and more death for our troops. We can't go back in time and stop the war ilt2m. I am saying that Bush has used the military to further his own neo-con goals, which has made a lot of people rich, but the army and our international reputation as a democratic country weaker. Starting a war with N. Korea is the only thing I can think of stupider than fighting in Iraq. Still, that country is a grave threat, and if Bush cared about American security he would at least have a coherent position on N. Korea.
