@dogooda12 Why do you think that someone "sold out on their dreams" because they decided not to pursue the Amway business opportunity? This is EXACTLY the reason so many parodies and articles are made about Amway! Have you ever considered that maybe the reason they left was because they learned that the BIG money was in selling TOOLS, not in getting people to buy from themselves and teaching others to do the same? Notice those 9 core steps direct folks to buy some upline tool? :-)

Haha the vid is very funny but yet incorrect! Why didn't you tell us who were the Diamonds that have been thrown out because they were harrassing and taking advantage of their groups! Why didnt you explain that a few of the Diamonds you showed there were kicked out because they were flirting around! Please understand. I like Amway products and would gladly use them if given to me as gifts or at the same price I would pay at the local store. Dish Drops, Double-X, and the laundry detergent are fantastic products. As an IBO, I coud'nt give the stuff away because of how a few misleading groups conducted their business. After I left, I was still so hopefull for my upline to make it big in Amway. I wanted to see if it could be done by doing business instead of selling books , tapes and functions

As an IBO I was spending 25% to 100% higher on daily items such as soap, shampoo, laundry detergent etc. If I were just a customer I would be spending at least 75% to 200% more than I could get at the local store. I decided to get into the 'not be an Amway customer or Ibo' business '. I save money every month this way. Dreams are nice but if the dream is not build with solid common sense business practices..it will reamain just that..a dream.

Why those people who don't really understand Amway always want to ruin Amway's reputation?? Why don't just let those who want to have better life to do what they want to do. Those who cannot be success just because they don't think it's best and they want to see the results in short period. We are costless to join Amway, just a try. It's really a good chance.

Let's be fair. You also have to include the reasons why people "leave" Amway. The reasons are countless. Isn't it a business where you can build to whatever level and then retire?  Really retire? Then when retired, you can move on to something else. Business is business. Amway is a great business. People get into trouble when they treat it like a social club. Forget the tools & functions. The "Systems" are the downfall of many people quitting. People make money by "selling" products.

emaffia, most of those people who left are not retired and moved on, they are, most of them, in lawsuits with amway and either they quit for moral reasons or got kicked out because they had morals, people dont make money by selling products they make real money by helping others make money, these people on this video by google search are still do that. do your research and get clarity before you get involved with amway

it fell apart because you want to be a customer and pay the prices that amway charges, they are way over market prices, if they are not making any money why would they stay a customer? yet along a ibo? they have to see results and not everyone one who signs up will do it, so they quit, if they made the prices more at market they would retain more people, but amway is greedy so they dont.

I have a friend in the company. going on about 15 or 16 years now...she is successful at pretty much everything, and still struggling with Quixtar or Amway or whatever it wants to call itself. I know everything about how it works, and I am amazed at how many people get sucked in. Amazed.

I understand waht you mean. Most people know starting a biz takes time. I go to conferences where people from all around the world come to such switz, Poland, Greece, Ukrain, ect and they are very successful or els they wouldnt been able to afford to come here to america. I dont know if you can find out about the Polish heart in poland. In history only one has ever been given out ever. One of my uplines I will not expose the name but they recieved the 2nd heart. Your friend will do well.

I am very sorry to find out what happened to your brother. I was in Amway & gave it a go for about a year & a half. It didn't work out for me & not for a lack of effort. When you have friends run away from you because you're peddling the products and get cross-eyed stares from other friends when you describe the plan, it will not happen. And when I expressed concerns to my upline & he said there were 6 others in my town who were looking to do this, I should've said, let 'em try.
