I think ur doctor is definitely wrong to not give you and ultrasound yet to ease ur worries b/c stress on u is not during pregnancy. I totally agree with going to get a local ultrasound, that's wut I am going to do. With my doc. He's given me an ultrasound ever since I first started comin to him @ 9wks but I am 22wks and have never heard my baby's heartbeat just seen it and he still can't seem to figure out the sex of the baby.

I agree with you on the needing an ultrasound. Woow can't believe they have not done one yet. I am preggo with baby number 3 so I can tell ya yep you get bigger sooner than you did with the first, or in my case first and second lol. But take care you look great!

Hey girlie! i watched your pregnancy with ella as well when i was preggers with my son and i agree i think yhou are showing a lot more than last time but i think thats just because your uterus is stretching easier this time around. That also happened to us when we went to the check up when i was 16 weeks, my boyfriend and i were scared cuz it took the doctor forever to find the heart beat but then after like 3 minutes she found it...i must say you look big for 16 weeks!! i am going to be 19 weeks tomorrow, this is my first child, my boyfriend and i are so excited to be first time parents!!!! ( i am 18 years old, boyfriend 23) :)

I get out of breathe during my vids too. Thats crazy that they haven't done a US for....I mean for me, I know exactly when I ovulated, so I'm more sure about my due date...but if your cycle wasn't regular to begin with, esp since your cycle was just getting started again after your 1st pregnancy, thats CRAZY that they're going of LMP alone right now! Love the heartbeat part :)

it is pretty crazy that you havent gotten an ultrasound at this point...I have had 6 ultrasounds done through my pregnancy...my first one was at 9 weeks to make sure there wasnt an eptomic pregnancy and make sure there was a heartbeat and everything..

Dont stress over anything!!! Everything is completely fine with the baby. 16 weeks believe it or not is still really early, it took about 4.5 months to hear my daughters heart beat. The main thing is they found it. Trust and believe that your little one is FINE MaMa!!!

that suck i got like 3 ultrasounds 1 was needed cause it was after a m/c the other was at 7 weeks and 18 weeks after that i couldn't have one unless something wrong.

What is the deal with your doc not giving you a ultrasound. That is crazy. Any mom would want to know their baby is okay. Especially with you being 16 wks and havent had a ultrasound yet.

unfortunately most doctors wont give you an ultrasound untill u are around 20 weeks. I kno it sucks! The absolute only ultrasound I had when I was pregnant with Jayden was when I was 21 weeks pregnant and that was it.

@StarSince1987 thanks for being so honest. I had my son on Dec 24th of last year and I'm going back and forth about when i want my next one. It is SO hard to plan for the second one in my opinion but then i see all you girls who i have been watching from the beginning and it makes me want another one! It is sooo hard! I think you guys will be fine. Will you stay home more when you have the second one?

@StarSince1987 lol it will be fine. my and my siblings are all a year and a half apart. :o)... im the youngest then a year and a half before my sis was born then a year and a half before that my bro was born
