@christiandagalea they are just the elements out of any general electric oven. If you look on google or eBay they have them for sale. What I did was posted a add on Craigslist for a unwanted oven and a guy gave me one. Then I bought one for like 20 buck and ripped it apart and scrapped the rest. If you have a hard time finding them let me know. I'll send you a link for them.
@kid617 the light is simply a regular light out of any oven. I took the assembly apart and used a hole saw and cut the hole through bot pieces of panel. I left the outside uncovered so I can take the wires off quickly and remover the door. Also the metal is 24 guage. We have a 26 foot break at work and that's where I had everything bent.
hey great build i want to do the same but i gotta see how to wire up my outlet my question is did u put the light from the oven or do u have to get a speacial light an buld for heat
And how did u bend the sheet metal an what sie gauge did u end up useing srry for all the question
@mjd1957utube I will sen you a message with a link to a similar oven where you can get a wiring diagram. My elements were out of regular electric ovens. I just ripped 2 apart that we're similar and they had the general GE burners. The insulation is 2 inch fiberglass board insulation I got a bundle for 85.00. Also the glass was the glass off the oven doors. Just pry it open and remove the seperator.
I would love to have the wiring diiagram to build your oven and more detail on the eleaments / insulators used for the mounting...... looks like you have built a oven ibn high demand I;m redoing a 72 suzuki and well might as well do it all myself,, any additional info would be great also as noted in another message, i assume the glass uses was cut from typacal oven door glass
@kid617 let me know what u need help with man I'll respond ASAP. I used the glass out of a oven. It's tempered glass. I just took the door apart and used pity panels of glass, I sealed it with a high temp sealant from Mc Master Carr. It's like a dark red color. I got the temperature guage from a store called do it best, Just like a little hardware store. It was made to sit in a grill. I popped it out the little holder and sealed it also in the small holes I cut. Let me know if u need help.
@41point2 what I would do is check and make sure your getting juice in the wires at all. It can be something as simple as a loose ground , or bad contact. Let me know after you check it all out.
This is brilliant. Thanks for sharing Big Time, bro!!!
I have a question regards the wiring of the burns. I have a 3 coil oven, a friend built. Haven't used it for about 4 years. When I plugged it into the 220 we have, it was dead. I'm looking to rewire the 3 coils bi passing the oven control switchs he put in so I have a simple on and off. Is there a chance you could direct me to a wiring diagram for 3 coils?

@maxpower14843 I do have a thermostat in the main box. But for now I just put em on full blast and it works fine.

Do you have some sort of theromstat control for the coils or are they just on full blast the whole time it is turned on?
