  • Not very entertaining.

  • I would destroy these guys.

  • you may also find the book "101 Crossword Puzzles for Dummies" useful. It has loads of advice and friendly tips, including puzzle-solving strategies and help on cracking cryptogram codes:

    [ replace (.) with . ]

  • they look like fucking retards up there wearing those ear muffs

  • Wow! These guys are my "objects of affection." LOL!

  • TROGDOR!!!

  • SHUT UP YOU FUCKING PEASANT.

  • YA!!! TROGDOR!!!!!!!!!

  • yer wouldnt you find it alot harder if you had to write everything down 3 times as big with a marker?

  • so why in the other video does he do it in like 2 mins and is constantly writing down answers and in this one it takes him forever to do it

  • Difference in level of difficulty.

  • This one is really really really hard, harder than a Saturday Times. The other one was a Monday level.

  • str8 up memorized the 2 minute...come on seriouslY? he wasnt even reading the clues in the 2 min vid

  • Haha... you are comparing a Monday NYT puzzle with a puzzle in the ACPT finals! Then again, you also said "str8 up," so I don't know why I would expect you to understand why there is a difference.

  • how people type on youtube doesnt prove their understanding for the english language, dumbass. you want to write an essay in MLA form, go for it, i choose shorthand so i can deal with idiots like you faster. the fact of the matter is, i know it was a monday nyt puzzle, therefore being A LOT easier, but the other point is, if you actually watch him do it, he turns it over and IMMEDIATLY starts writing. really? a little farfetched if you ask me but w/e. you dont know the truth anymore than i do.

  • mainly becuase this is the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament Finals, as opposed to the New York Times. The answers are going to be infinately more obscure here than in any saturday morning paper.

  • oh my god! i didn't know that exist.

what else have champioship ? jo-kem-po?

  • actually, they do.

  • oh my god! i didn't know that exist.

what else have champioship ? jo-kem-po?

  • Haydn was one of the three composers (Mozart and Beethoven being the other two) who were part of the so-called First Viennese School. He also spent the large majority of his life in an estate owned by the Esterhazy family about 30 miles from Vienna....thus Viennese Haydn. That's how I read it at least.

  • Why did two of the guys get a head start?

  • oops, never mind, didnt realise this wasnt the first video.

  • you spelled realize wrong asshole "realise" go get an education moron.

  • you spelled realize wrong asshole "realise" go get an education moron.

  • That's the common British spelling you moron. Go get an education AND a dictionary. At least he used proper grammar and syntax. He even capitalized (capitalised) the first letter of the sentence if you want to get picky.

Looks like someone just got beat at their own game..

  • You need an education too, because you can not use contractions when writing you moron.

  • Yeah, but since this IS the internet, you're both retarded for arguing about grammar and spelling.

  • you spelled realize wrong asshole "realise" go get an education moron.

  • Akward skill to have..

  • "The question was

    "Mozart or Haydn"

and the answer is "Wiener" --

    another way of saying Viennese...

    Omg

That is exactly why I never got the cryptic cross word puzzles!

    Great commentators

  • Oh -- and the question isn't even CORRECT:

Although he lived there, Mozart wasn't Viennese -- he was from Salzburg!

  • PWNED

  • PWNED ...what's that???

  • owned lol

  • owned ...what's that???

  • whats PWNED?

  • Wikipedia "Owned". It was a term formed in online video games, it basically means when someone totally destroys the competition. "Pwned" is just another variation created by Elite Aka "L33t" (an online way of speaking in code, using symbols, numbers and also just incorrectly spelling words to make it look cool).

  • thanks mate

  • Amazing lack of culture by the authors of this CWP...

Embarrassing error in a nice question

    And Haydn wasn't Viennese either!
