your right, the origonal and the tragic 98 movie do have the same plot, but the combination of bad effects do not do Godzilla justice, as well as the actors who had no idea how to act alongside a giant monster that was basiclly a rip off of a Jurrasic park T rex.
you know whats wierd? if you look at the beginning of the original Godzilla and the 98' tragedy, the 98er actualy follows the original pretty well for a while.
