At 2:45, Senator McCain OBVIOUSLY does not know that the Republican party of the 1850s and 60s was a center-left party. Yes, some lawmakers supported slavery. Reid did not say they were Republicans. He didn't say they were Democrats. He said lawmakers - of that time.
McCain speaks here defensively because there is little to defend the Republicans' obstructionist strategy.

Hmm, I feel like a mosquito at a nudist colony..Where do I begin?! During the Reagan era, inflation averaged a mere 4.4% compared to Carter's (a more white Obama) 12.5%. Unemployment declined from 7.7% to 5% and 16 million jobs were created. Though he upped the deficit by increasing defense spending by 40%, he kept us safe from the Russians. In spite of that (!), the overall GPD rose an average 3.4%/year.
Try reading a book instead of "googling" statistics off biased websites.

Don't forget realignment. It used to be that New England voted Republican and the South voted Democratic. Now they have flipped flopped so the trends are reversing. Red States have more economic freedom and faster growing economies. It would be too painful for you pull up those numbers, so I won't ask you to. But if you want a true look at red vs blue, you would have to break it down to a "county" level.

All currency has only the value that people instil into it. Even gold backed currency has no inherent value other than the value that we instill in gold. By "your" standards (the standards that the repugs have mislead you to misunderstanding), all money is counterfeit and the only logical solution is to go back and trade in cows and sheep

i'll prove it with your first statement:
"No State (country) shall enter into any Treaty (UN)"
"He [The president] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties"
The state sure can't make treaties but the president sure can.
Article 1 section 10 is the "Powers prohibited of States" so sure states can't do this but it doesn't mean the country and it's federal government can't.

it is as i said before that section is more about not letting states create there own currency and whatnot a country with 50 separate currencies is a wholey disjointed nation and not united like the standar banner says.
