i met him once, after a show at around midnight in an alley in shepherds bush, london... at the time i was talking to my boyfriend on the phone, and when i told andrew that he was also a fan, he took the phone and talked to my boyfriend, wishing him a happy birthday. he then thanked me for coming to see him open for some british band. he was dead tired, but talked to me anyway. how's that for ego, huh?

CantDenyFate, I can't deny disagreeing with you on several points. One, I met a lot of talented people and they had small egos, which leaves a lot of room for talent. Big egos have nothing but their egos and have to constantly have them fed or they jump! Like Russell Brand for example: huge ego, very selfish those with big egos.

I love how I keep seeing this user all over the comments for Andrew Bird's videos. If you don't like, don't watch them. It's not like you're going to convince anyone to dislike him. You're just being elitist. =P
