  • I'm so happy for this little dog, these people are angels, It's so nice to know that goodness still exists in this world.

  • Omg Peter

  • Thank you for posting an update for this lil fella. I'm glad a good family found him. Good luck Aristotle!!!!

  • This makes me Soo happy to see he has a GREAT family to take care of everything he could need!!!!!!

  • 2 words GREAT PEOPLE enough said

  • How confused an animal must be to experience pain and abandonment from one human being and love from another...what did an animal ever do to a human to be treated unkindly? i hope the 22 people who disliked this can reconsider

  • Awesome! Those people are angels. He looks SO much better!

  • did aristotle join the ugliest dog contest (charity)? he could've won.

  • I envy those people because I believe that they have booked their place in heaven :)

  • beautiful people <3

  • bless them <3

  • the dog looks great now, thak god people like they exist.

and the dog looks soooo cute with the sunglasses :D

  • thank god theres still some decent civilized people out there!

  • Cute dog:D

  • God bless these people for taking such good care of that little dog.

  • I'll admit that my heart ached as I witnessed this poor creature... but surely I,M not the only one who noticed how insanely wasteful it was to treat this mangy shell of a dog ...

I would have opted for euthanasia.

  • @lictor313 ...sadly it was humans who turned this little guy into a "mangy shell of a dog". Us humans owe it to him to make his life so much better...he deserves that from us.

  • @lictor313 aw how can you say that when you can see now how happy and full of life he is. this dog had a lot of life left in him and i'm glad the vet could see that.

  • @lictor313 I'm sure you would have wanted the same for the Vick dogs huh? Look at them now. Almost all of them in their forever homes. Like humans, dogs are incredibly resilient. Just because a dog looks bad doesn't mean it can't be nursed back to health as Aristotle was, and so many of the Vick dogs were.

  • @dieseldog00 how does this respond to my previous point that the resources invested in this creature were indeed a waste in comparative standards?

  • @lictor313 Dogtown does not weigh dogs' lives in the balance of 'comparative standards'. Only PETA does that. So let me guess-your real name is Ingrid Newkirk.

  • @dieseldog00 Peta is a ridiculous and dangerous organization of crypto communist fringe borderline insane people.

Again my point is that tens of thousands of dollars worth of resources is an immense squandering of wealth for a shell of an animal... a disgusting mangy curr..

  • @lictor313 The first sentence I agree with. The second sentence shows you don't know wtf you're talking about with Dogtown. Tens of thousands??? Niga plz you know nothing. I'm done talking to you.

  • @dieseldog00 youre denying that the bill to get this dog up and running did not cost in exceess of 10 000$?

  • @lictor313 You have some serious problems.

  • @greenismine explain why?

  • wow, that's amazing! that poor little guy, i don't understand how someone could let something like that happen. I FLIPPED when i found a tick on my poor little sheltie. I couldn't imagine letting her get like that... It's just horrible. I'm soo happy this family took him in. These guys have huge hearts!

  • Awww since the beginning I saw him u said how cute and wow that's not fair if our climax was always cloudy id say welcome home he was always cute you just need a good feeling heart to see it like they did hopefully his eyes close now u guys are nice people I want mire people like you guts who don't judge a book by it's cover I'm 13. And wow I love this

  • what an awesome little dude! and what a perfect family he ended up a part of!

  • He really looks cute than ugly ^_^

  • there is always hope for everything and everybody of all people would just care for them. =)

  • this is truly amazing, touching and sooo sweet!!!!!

  • fuck those 22 people

  • wow.. he got furs now.. lucky him..

  • this little doggie is such a survivor! i try very hard not to judge others but I was HORRIFIED at the neglect of this little guy... i am a health care provider and nothing seems as awful as hurting our fury friends.... the ability to justify poor lifestyle choices is truly evident with this dog... it just makes me sad to know people live such little thought beyond their comfort.... i am so glad this little puppy is truly a survivor...!! love the DOGGLES!!

  • Ooooh this was truly great to see and it made my day. I love stories like this! To see his first appearance and now this pampered highly loved dog is a true blessing. There are good people in this world and here you see a bunch of them

  • 22 people dislike this. they say liking animal cruelty is a sure sign of a serial murderer. shame on you

  • this made me cry of happiness!! haha

  • i love those goggles!

  • wow...thanks dogtown :)

  • I am so glad that their are still people who treat dogs as family not just only animals in the visible eye !

  • i wish i were a dog in that house!

  • awwwwwwww! thats so cute!

  • I love these people

  • That couple are a pair of saints.

  • Fantastic!

  • THis is the saddest/happiest story in dog history. This dog is the coolest dog ever. (my dog ties with him)

  • this is such an amazing story i am so glad you showd such a happy ending, Dogtown is an amazing organization, i live in Australia and had never herd of it until i watched these videos on Youtube. I wish we had the same facility in Australia, we have terrible animal abuse here and the courts are far too lenient . I have rescued 3 poodles over the years who were in terrible condition when i got them, I gave them the most loving home spoilt and pampered.

  • those 22 dislikes need to be repeatededly punched in the face til they die :D

and that dog omfggg so cute, very generous caring people who adopted him.

  • I appreicate these people so much <3

  • what do these people do for a leaving that they have so much money to take care of all these dogs and have a special salt pool for them. I'm assuming adopting dogs as a living isn't it even so they do it, they don't get paid for that lol

  • yes Ari!!!!! He looks so cute in his goggles!!! what a cutie.

  • I remember doing a little jig when I found out Aristotle got adopted.

He truly deserves a little slice of heaven on earth for what he has been through.

Cheers to Best Friends and Ari's new family!

  • this made me feel so good for a change about good endings.. you people are wonderful all of you, God bless!

  • thses guys are awesome. Enough said.

  • God bless them!! :]

  • Aww Aristotle's goggles are so cute! He looks so much better.

  • at the end aristotle just looks so happy!

    ah =-)

  • You guys are a blessing. May God Bless all off you and your little angels.

    Best wishes from the Philippines.

  • these guys... are fucking angels

    wow...

  • Aww God Bless those them! :) ♥

  • Great story.

  • Oh my god, those people are so fucking awesome.

  • OMG! SO cute LOVE the little goggles! So happy for Aristotle!!

  • so glad there are nice people out there who really care for aristotle!

  • omg hes soo cute with the shades

  • I didn't think he was ugly at all. He looked like a miniature Anubis, very cute in an odd fashion. People are so damned squeamish...

  • amazing

  • aww i just saw the first part, wow he seems fine!

  • IMHO people like that couple are proof GOD and angels exist.....

  • I'm happy for that little guy. I just hope those previous owners don't get another dog or else the dog will get seriously sick too. But this was nice it really made me miss my dog...........thinking so I think I'm gonna cry (it's been 11 years)

  • 4:21 he's a cool dog.

  • omg im SO happy for him im so happy i cried the whole time it was just so sad to see him at first

  • this made me so happy, D:

  • This is so awesome, yay!

  • Love a happy ending..

  • Way to go aristotle!!!

  • These people are saints. This dog is beautiful. This story is too.

  • lol, those glasses are too cute! I'm so happy for him and his new family :-)

  • Im so happy he has been rehomed to these type of owners, the previous video was sickening to watch. But seeing what can be done in time, is great!

  • thank God that Aristotle had a wonderful family already... and im so happy about his new condition .. for the family who adopted Aristotle God blessed you always.

  • what a cutie!

  • great!

  • This made me soo happy. When I first watched "Neglected Terrier" (Aristotle's episode).

I was scared he wouldn't find a home.

It's a blessing that he met such a loving family.

  • this is sweetest thing. That little dog is so lucky to have survived and have this great family take such good care of him.

  • this just melts your heart on seeing how they have provided such a great home for the little friend. all i can say is wow!!!

  • what a fantastic home! i work in a shelter and i wish there was more ppl like that where i am. we have had dogs come in in that condition and there are no ppl that here who take them on!

  • why NO closed captioned in here video

  • wow....after watching the first video, I was sure he was gonna die. Thank God there was a happy ending. Thank God for that family.

  • wow

  • this is truely a great story

  • I wish they could make like a super thin mask for him, covered in natural fur.

Like a thin aerated silicone? fine mesh

  • dude did you not just see the rest of the vid?? the cool climate was good for the dogs skin so his hair grew back!

  • Ya he's in doggy heaven. :)

I was referring to when it was all scabby and stuff.

  • they never said what kind of parasite it was, whether it was mange or whatever. probably dont know

  • it was mange the full episode mentioned it.

  • thank god little Aristotle found a good home ^-^

  • what a wonderful story! I love dogs! I have three Siberian Husky that are all related..two are brothers from the same litter, they are 10 years old and the other one is 5. They are my buds and always will be!

  • aaaww Im so happy he found a good home

  • What a great family. It's still horrible to think about what the little guy has to go through with regards to his eyes.

  • wow! this is exactly the perfect family for him. they seem to really love and take care of their dogs, and are experts in handling them. all their dogs are so well behaved. i wish there are more dog owners like them :)

  • God bless you and your family for adopting this dog, When I first saw Aristotal on the Dog Town show I sat and cried for this dog, im so happy to see she is doing good. I hope she has a wonderful life. I now donate $100 a month to "dog town" they do such great work with neglected dogs.

  • yep, God Bless this great Family for taking

in the little mutt. Hope they have years of

    happy tail wagging times ahead.

  • I so very happy for Aristotle and the family treats those dogs like royalty :)

  • can someone tell me what happened to this dog? thanks

  • This video is kinda like a continuation of the video "Negelected Terrier" also from National Geographic's YouTube Channel. There is alot to tell, so I think you should watch the video!! :D

  • i got my dog from SPCA.

she is just a mongrel but me n my family loved her to bits!

i missed her so much as i had to leave her with my family as i m now studying overseas my my sister cant bear to be apart from her.

    do adopt from SPCA.

    help them find a home.

    trust me,u will love them!

  • YAY! I'm happy that NG updated the story about Aristotle..I always wondered what hapopened to him!

  • U can see Neglected Terrier...

  • i'm glad that this dog as found a nice home, with sooo many friends!!! god bless this family!

  • who?you?

  • i'm glad that there is people such caring people out there

  • man i almost cried seeing this dog

    im glad your around gby

  • It's beautiful to see a vulnerable, but wonderful creature taken care of so lovingly by a family where he can be appreciated fully. It is nice to know that aesthetics do not rule the world, humans can learn from this. Love should be shared by all.

  • That is one lucky dog. Im glad he got a home : )

  • that's nice of you guys, dog lovers should be rewarded, way too little people care about street dogs, they have a horrible life......

  • i hope he find a family to love him and his fur will be back :)

  • What a beautiful dog...inside and out! I hope he finds the most loving home in the world!!!

  • what happend to the dog, he was born that way? or he suffern from something?

  • I belive he was very mistreated by his past owners... and he developed a lot of phobia's and physical problems

  • if you watch the whole film it says its a sensitive skin condition that it was born with and its really easy for it to get sun burned and a few other things. just watch the whole thing

  • este video es muy penoso!!! U_U!!!

    :(!!

  • Will he need saline drops forever?

  • yes, the eyelids are turned up and burned from mistratment from the prev. owners, with out his eyelids being able to move the eyes can lubricate fully.

  • @angelicsyd9 His condition wasn't due to "mistreatment" but due to neglect. When you say mistreatment it sounds like someone deliberately burned him when it's actually a cause of mites.

  • What the fuck is that?

  • It is great that some people in the world cares about him, i think he is very cute though he got those scars.
