I think the blond hair is because Yong Gook, Himchan and Zelo already debuted as individuals( well Zelo and Yong Gook). And the other three are all brand new. So the company wants them to have the same style is to let the bang and Zelo or Himchan fans to get a opportunity to check out the other members. So it wouldn't be unfair.

Good reaction video. Unlike some of the videos where people try to act for the camera instead of actually sitting there and watching the video like you SHOULD be doing. This is exactly how I was when I first watched (aside from my complete freak out and replay of the ending). Personally, however, despite being very confused about who the members were (The only ones that I could name right off the bat was the maknae, Zelo and Yong Guk) I actually mentally picked a bias based on their voice. ^^'

The blonde thing was actually their concept; union between the members and introducing the group as a whole before each individual member. It's unfortunate that you didn't get a good first impression of them, but that's okay, not everyone's going to like it. I hope they change your mind with their next comeback/cycle of promotions. Cause each person has their own strengths and weaknesses and it needs to be shown. Them being all blonde doesn't help them get any recognition. And mystery? so the reason that all of the members have the same hair color was told to us by Daehyun a member of the group. He said that they all have the same hair color so that the audience gets a feel for them as a group and not just as the individuals. They wanted to debut as a team! They are wonderful! Yet you can still pick out Zelo due to his curly hair haha

I think the blond hair is because Yong Gook, Himchan and Zelo already debuted as individuals( well Zelo and Yong Gook). And the other three are all brand new. So the company wants them to have the same style is to let the bang and Zelo or Himchan fans to get a opportunity to check out the other members. So it wouldn't be unfair.
I have not seen such a strong debut in a long time! Last time I fell this in love in a kpop band was Infinite.

Good reaction video. Unlike some of the videos where people try to act for the camera instead of actually sitting there and watching the video like you SHOULD be doing. This is exactly how I was when I first watched (aside from my complete freak out and replay of the ending). Personally, however, despite being very confused about who the members were (The only ones that I could name right off the bat was the maknae, Zelo and Yong Guk) I actually mentally picked a bias based on their voice. ^^'

The blonde thing was actually their concept; union between the members and introducing the group as a whole before each individual member. It's unfortunate that you didn't get a good first impression of them, but that's okay, not everyone's going to like it. I hope they change your mind with their next comeback/cycle of promotions. Cause each person has their own strengths and weaknesses and it needs to be shown. Them being all blonde doesn't help them get any recognition. And mystery? lol we had almost the same reaction. I didn't know anything about this group either and I was so confused when I saw that they all had the same hair color. But then I realized the more I watched the music video the more I started to recognize some of the members so I don't mind that they are all blonde anymore. hahah but anyway, I don't understand why this video has so many thumbs down. so the reason that all of the members have the same hair color was told to us by Daehyun a member of the group. He said that they all have the same hair color so that the audience gets a feel for them as a group and not just as the individuals. They wanted to debut as a team! They are wonderful! Yet you can still pick out Zelo due to his curly hair haha

@swirlingorb I never said ALL ASIAN PEOPLE LOOK THE SAME. I said that the members looked the same cause of the hair and outfits. I'm quite aware of the fact that Asians have very dark hair naturally but usually k-pop idols all dress differently in music videos.

i think the point well for them the reason they have blonde hair is that you focus on the group as a whole, but not at an individual (so people don't create favoritism and ignore some of the other members)
in one way I think its cool I was focusing my attention at them as a whole (I enjoyed to an extent not knowing who was who because I could love them equally) I hope I made sense

I think that they stood out the most with their video concept.
I could tell the difference between all, if not most of them by voice and face as well.
I had no problem with the video what so ever. I thought they came out with a bang actually.

I agree the hair confused me. lol The only reason I could pick out Bang was because of his solo and his song with Zelo (curly hair). He didn't have blonde hair in either vid but i could still tell who he was lol and instant gravitation toward Zelo is explained by us being the same age and having seen him already

The first rapper is Yongguk, 1:16 is Himchan, 1:23 & 3:59 Daehyun, 1:44 & 2:27 is Youngjae, the boy standing behind everyone at 1:51 is Zelo, 2:30 is Jongup.

The reason they all have blond hair is because the Group wanted people to focus on the group as a whole and not on one single person, so they had everyone have blond hair. It was to show the unity of the group. I think them all having blond hair was confusing at first also but I think it was actually a really smart idea. I like the fact that they want people to pay attention to the group as a whole and not just one person. I am mostly able to telling everyone apart now. Just takes time ^_^

I want to respect your opinion, I really do but I just gotta say you focus way too much on "I can't tell what the members look like" and what is up with "I can't tell who my bias is"... why is that important, anyway? Maybe I'm weird, but I've always admired when a group can handle dancing in sync, when there are good rappers as well as great vocals, when the choreography is mind-blowing and memorable and when the song makes a strong impact. You seemed to miss all this just because of their hair,

The dancing was so in sync and on point, I have watched almost all of their live performances and I knew they we're truly talented and I just usually find my bias when I watch a mv from a group for the first time, its kinda of my thing. I'll admit that i focused to much on the hair, I just don't like when rookies that debut dress the same and have the same hair. I actually like the group.

I agree that sometimes it takes a while before you really see the talent behind the appearance but because of this group's whole idea of focusing on group talent first rather than individual talent, I got a little defensive after hearing your comments.
