  • R u. Out of ur mind do u even know how bad that is for ur feet

  • Now this is how you warm-up as she has stated in the intro!

  • your feet will be ruined

  • @megahorselover24 nope :)

  • This is really bad for your feet

It jacks them up a lot and when your older you will have a crippled foot! My advice don't do it anymore. I don't think any ballet dancer would want a crippled foot..

  • I know you didnt mean to do this but this vid looks cool in an artistic way the carpet the colors etc i feel like it should be in a scary movie like the shining or have like mozart music playing in the background!haha

  • y ademas inutil, los dedos no son los que hacen la punta, sino el empeine, mejor trabaja tus empeines

  • muy peligroso

  • AUCHHH!

  • DAME! WTF

  • that's bad for your feet! your crippling them!

  • It's only bad if it hurts! You know darn well that there is nothing you can do to your joints that is bad if it doesn't hurt--pain is the natural way of telling you that. In fact, this excercise is very GOOD for feet if done right and if it does not hurt. The people who tell you it's bad are ballerinas whose feet hurt every day and get mangled from pointe work! What hypocrisy. It is true that the excercise is most beneficial if you keep your ankles straight when you're on your toes

  • wow great video can you plz do a floor point videos plz :)

  • That is really bad for your feet!! Do not use this strategy to improve your arches!!! Use exercises like forced arch and use a theraband to improve your arches.

  • @TheDanceAttitude Really? Why so? (:

  • @JeanCorrosive

Well, first it doesn't help you in any way...

Second, putting all your body weight on the joints of your feet will cause joint damage.

If you want to warm up your feet for pointe you should do some circles with your ankles to get your metatarsals warmed up, and if you want to get your toes warmed up then: flex, pointe just your ankles, point your ankles and toes and then reverse. I'll do a video on it. :) :)

  • @TheDanceAttitude Oh, but i dont feel any pain on my feet :/ Thanks for the info, ok can't wait, youre cool :D

  • @JeanCorrosive Or can this also make your feet stronger? Kinda strenghtens the ankles and arches, doesn't it?

  • @JeanCorrosive That's good, fist-like exercise for the feet! And it doesn't hurt!

  • WOW! More!
