It's a clutchless manual. Paddle shifters for gear selection are located just behind the steering wheel. This lets the car apply the clutch as the computer and sensor packages see fit, which allows for better-than-human response, application and shift times, while still leaving gear selection up to the driver for maximum control of getting all that power to the ground. It's really a brilliant system, I'd love to try one on at least a rented Corvette Z06 at least once in my life.

WOW, you guys are retarded. That driver is doing just fine. Controlling a slide at over 100 is kind of a big deal..

Also, upshifting during the turn, it's b/c the car is so twitchy, he/she doesn't want to loze it around the turn and destroy a 1.5 million $ car.

any driver of any knowlege of racing would know the driver was just pretty bad...i can understand loosing some traction...but she kept upshifting around corners..then downshifting at the end of the corner!!

most the time she wasnt in the powerband!!!

I highly doubt the driver is a "bad" driver. Keep in mind Ferrari chose the owners of the FXX's, they wouldn't pick some random rich, inexperienced doofus off the street to own a car they're using to collect valuable test data. Unless this isn't the owner of the car driving of course, but I don't see that as being very likely. And I doubt that's a woman driving, Ferrari, and any owner of a car like this, should know better than to let a woman get behind the wheel of 800hp.
