I am inclined to agree on the search, because, to be fair it would look very suspicious with a guy filming 4 police officers for no apparent reason.

Everytime a police officer takes their baton out they have to fill in paperwork to say why, same with taser, CS gas and gun. Remove this law and the people like you would respect the law and know that filming the police is disrespectful - That's the issue here, that's the main issue with the whole rioting situation.
