haih..for truth i can never satisfied with the casts in Taiwan's version.i just cant watch it well i did try.Maybe its ok for those who havent watch/read SB or SUJU's fans maybe, but the casts are not that appealing to me. thou their acting Maybe good, suju members are well known but since skip beat is one of my fav,i have much bigger anticipation with the characters, i guess i just cant :))) eventhou they make it korean/jap version, if the casts are not appealing to me, i wont watch them :)

@thetennisgamer It's Taiwanese. A lot of Asian dramas do re-makes of mangas. ie. Hana Yori Dango -> Meteor Garden/BoysOverFlowers. City Hunter -> Korean vers. of City Hunter. Hana Kimi was also made into a Taiwanese drama. Itazura na Kiss -> It Started With A Kiss/Playful Kiss

Being a manga/anime doesn't necessarily mean that the first live-action drama HAS to be of the same nationality, lol. It depends who thinks of it & wants to do it first.

I agree that Ivy Chen is a good actress, but her flare is not suited for Kyoko. Kyoko has a very, almost tomboy-like flare full of contrast in her feelings, sometimes full of hatred and sometimes very cute, loving and nice. As displayed in both the manga and anime, she probably the toughest female heroine I have ever encountered. While Ivy is more of the cute and girly type.

@XAnimeHolicX Lee MinHo, a famous Korean actor known for his lead role in Boys Over Flowers & City Hunter. You should watch one of them; they're both amazing. Boys Over Flowers was a HUGE hit back in '08 & is one of the "must sees" of kdramas. you won't regret watching it, trust me. :]

@bakanii5 any manga and anime could be remake by any country if they bought the copyright :) Ivy Chen is Taiwanese, Siwon and Donghae are Koreans and this live action is remaked by Taiwanese. It's their decision to choose the actors who fit the characters' personalities instead of choosing by race. Japan is the origin of Skip Beat, but Taiwan usually do the live actions first.
