Great upload! Havent seen this before, loved the bit before in the studio, have been in a TV studio myself and it is like it was before they start the show. Was this before Paul Eddington got ill?
You're a true testament, given that the programme was aired almost 20 years before you were born, to how well these 'old' shows have stood the test of time. ;-)
Most certainly. And most proper of you to put the 'u' into honour. Something Margo would have demanded! Love the show... though it finished 15 years before I was born.
lmao, dnt b a dick. what makes tht old bitch so special, oh yeah her blood. She does fuck all and its people like u that allow her to do so and still live thousands of times better than the majority of people in the U.K. The whole monarchy should be destroyed!

This is the last year of the Good Life. Three years of viewing bliss but still remains timeless. Grew up watching two years of it until 1978.

Barbara buys stamps with their surplus? And that qualifies them for their old age pension? What does that mean?
frozentootsiepop 3 years ago
'Stamp' refers to their state pension contribution.

@CHFCooper - what a coincidence - it is two years later. Didn't notice the upload time until you mentioned it. Happy Birthday. :-)
Never saw this special episode before.

@CHFCooper The strange thing is at 3:05 I have too agree with Margo.
Even though shes a snob and that was supposed too be a joke.
Socialism is a disgrace!

WOW!!! I can't think of any bigger hono(u)r for a show! You know you've got talent when the Queen herself comes to see you! Astonishing!
