@PetsbudNasia if you cant open just go on google type in winrar should be from rarlab(dot)com then in the cod 4 folder right click on it and press properties then press open with and then type in winrar in the bar then click winrar.exe and then you can open it.

i use gimp and serif photoplus

(not used to gimp much) so i mostly get the dds and save as a png and edit it in serif then open the png in gimp and then save that as a dds

This can be done with otehr softwares and im jsut throwing this out there if anyone isnt comfortable with ps yet...

@j0niig i had the same problem but i figured it out. download paint.net and open up the dds file in that, save it then as a PNG file. open up the PNG file in photoshop and edit it. once youve finished editing, save it as a PNG and open it back up in Paint.net then save it as a dds file. thumbs this up so people can see

EVERYONE IMPORTANT READDDDD!!!!! look on another skins vid for the plug in, install it but u need the full version of photoshop not the portable. But to get it to work after u have installed the plug in you just drag the file after u put it through the iwi2dds program into photoshop instead of opening it..
