Here is an overview over the steps. Please give Thumbs up, that other people can see it, too. :) 1. Duplicate the "Background" 2. Filter/Blur/surface Blur (Radius 18; Threshold 8) 3. Duplicate the "Background Copy" 4. Image/Adjust/Desaturate 5. Swap in the Layerswindow from "Layers" to "Channels" 6. Strg+Click on "RGB" 7. Swap in the Layerswindow from "Channels" to "Layers" 8. Select/Inverse 9. New Layer 10. Edit/Fill (Black; Normal; 100%) 11. Disable view in "Layer 1" and "Background copy 2"
i really need help,i like this kind of comic effect, but how do i get the classic comic effects, like where theres like thousands of colorful dots.. im not sure how to explain it..
Try selecting areas in pieces with the laso tool and or the Magnetic tool. Then save each section as layers. This way you dont effect the image as a whole, but rather in pieces. Simply then to get the dotted effect. Right click on a layer and go to blending options and choose pattern I believe it is. find a pattern you like and bring down the opacity to maybe about 20 to 30% or your liking. You may have to change it to multiply as well. But that should give you your effect. Hope this helps.
Awesome tutorial, sure it's got no vocal guides but if you have any idea how to use Photoshop then experimenting with the blurred values shouldnt be a problem. If the values you entered don't work, go back and try different ones.
It looks like you know what you're doing, and I'm sure we can all stumble through... But like everyone else is crying out, please consider buying a microphone! At the very least, consider subtitles-- Great tutorial potential, though.
Please can you just type up step by step what you did. Most of it was ok, but I couldn't see ANY of the values entered, making me severely balls mine up :)
Lots of people like you and DarkxSniper will not understand this and I don't blame you. As a tutorial writer myself I get irritated when I see videos like this, with no vocal explantions, no text, not zooming the video in when needed, it must be really frustratig for you guys!
