  • ferocious, indeed!

  • Haha - when I saw them doing this Cave did exactly the same at the start - leaned out over the crowd and pointed to someone in the audience.

  • Fantastic!!!

  • Top of the pops.

  • Ferocious

  • J ai vu en live Radiohead, U2, Muse, Massive attack......etc....

Mais ce concert de nick cave à Paris restera à jamais mon meilleur souvenir, un envoutement, une magie inexplicable!!

  • Can't find "Darker with the day" anywhere...sigh.

  • i wonder why this man is very conected with GOD ? in almost his songs he remains him...

  • @MrExorcist7 Cause God freakin' rules!

  • 1:00 looks like he's been put out after catching fire

  • what an outstanding presentation ... every time Cave tops himself ... ! ♥

  • a summum of poetry

  • Oh, my lord

  • This is a great thriller movie merged in music

  • When my wife (bless her heart and soul) left me, I played this song to smithereens. There can be so much comfort in music!

  • Excellent Excellent song! I had the chance to see him and the seeds live on Oslo back when this tour was on, the croud woudln't go home and we got THREE standing ovations in form of extra songs each time until Nick ordered us to go home

    WHAT A NIGHT!!

  • I love you Nick <3

  • I'm kicking over the tables .. This has the emotion that scares me!! Wow

  • So much emotion. I love his ability to use religious themes in good taste even though I am not religious.

  • how come "no more shall we part" is such a splendid, perfect, moving album and noone ever mentions it? i guess it is one of the best works of art man has ever made

  • Comment removed

  • @psike5000 I agree! I agree, I agree!! You always hear people talking up Nick and the Bad Seeds older albums, The Boatman's Call, From Her to Eternity etc, but I think this album is one of the best. Not just the best from Cave and the Bad Seeds but the best ever. "Oh My Lord", Hallelujah", "We Came Along This Road", "The Sorrowful Wife" and the title track stand out in particular. I can never get enough of this album.

  • Cave is Kafka in the world of music.... Category for himself... Genious....

  • I think the most underated singer in the history of modern music. If mtv had played him more he would be one of the most sold out quadroplatinum artist playing in wembley arena like celine dion. I think nick is bigger than Sinatra. Nice guy also met him on leister square once in L.F.F

  • I listen to quite a lot of metal, and still I must say the 4:59 is one of the most epic and well-deserved head banging I've ever saw\heard.

gotta love how this song starts so mellow and builds up so beautifully until it explodes.

  • Blixa And Warren are amazing!

  • A song as the response to the wrong picture people had about someone. “Call it intuition, call it a creeping suspicion, but their words of derision meant they hardly knew me, for even I could see in the way they looked at me…" Cave’s music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.

    Absolutely amazing and overwhelming!

  • <3 :')

  • its been almost a month since i found this song you posted...its also been a month i've been listening to it every day.

  • Cave's voice is even soft & sultry when he's singing raw & gutteral like this, he surrenders his voice here to his soul, wow <3333333

  • incredible

  • got my ticket today...can't wait!

  • I don't even have words to convey how this makes me feel...

  • I just got the God Is In The House DVD today. He takes my breath away. Absolutely amazing.

  • let me see you striped

  • Fucking intense.

  • me encanta como suena en vivo, lo adoro!

  • i loooooooooooove uuuuuuu!

  • " i can't believe what I can see..."

i think we've all lokked in that mirror...

  • That staccato bit at the end is great! Now I'm going to have to re-listen to the studio version to see if it's there. For some reason I don't remember it.

  • Cave is a genius.

Every time i think, it can't be better than this song, he always has another song which is better.

It's like walking on a cycle..

For me cave is one of the greatest artists in music. You just CAN'T compare him with others..

  • True That!

  • You're the greatest motherfucker I ever met.

  • @itSmicr0 Too bad he can't sing :(

  • @Bexorcist

Here we care nothing about talent, ability, or skill. Here we after something more. Has your duende been exorcised as well, Jr,?

  • @labowu Yes, my friend, but more due to David Eugene Edwards & his former band 16 Horsepower. Don't get me wrong, I like Cave as well, but not particulary fond of his voice, that's all :)

  • He´s such a talented artist, the greatest performer i ever seen.

  • great song!!

  • nothing to say!wonderful

  • tremendum

  • this song was composed in hell. astonishing.

  • This song is sooooooo great live.... you can feel the very air you breathe rise and fall with each note and word. And the build up...WOW!

Is this from that DVD God is in the house?

  • Sounds like the later version of the mercy seat, well the piano does. Great though.

  • This must be one of the sadest songs in the world, but Nick makes it a beautiful experience.. Wonderful performance, sends shivers down my spine

  • Nicks gets me high with every song he sings , every piano key, every hip swivel, he is a one of a kind writer, musician, no one could coem clos eto duplicating what he has, forever my GOD..NICK CAVE

  • i so agree with your "uuffff" comment! it's the most appropriate thing to say after holding your breath for 8 minutes! unbelievable song!

  • oh nick !!! oh nick!!! you are a genius

  • Every time I hear this song I'm compelled to mimic Nick's dancing movements. It's a perfect song.

  • Nick Cave is one of the best Songwriters ever. Tales from the other side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • freaking GENIUS'!!!!! Unfortunately, i missed out on tix to the Melbourne gig. UURGHHHHH!!! If anybody is by chance selling, let me know yah??? Im no good at flirting with security guards. My boyish charm and robusto beard will only cause them to wail on my assss, so a free entry is out of the question...

  • there is NO ONE that can compete with this man. Nick Cave is my God.

  • goose bumps on my skin

  • geniusz !!

  • ten Skurczybyk jest niesamowity

  • I Love this Song so much, cant describe, it took some time for me, but then, it got me by the balls. A Masterpiece, the violin drove me insane..in a positive way! Once again Thx for posting a live-version. I can loose myself in this song for so long...

  • Haha well said man! Grabbed by the Balls indeed!

  • "... kept saying that I was not... "

Uff! Brr... he is really something.

  • Beautifull....

  • I don't think there's a performer in the world who puts as much heart into his songs as Cave. The guy's a fucking champ.

  • @mustaine89 I finally saw him for the first time last year with Grinderman. It was breathtaking.

  • What venue is this?

    fuckin amazing song and preformance

  • All those lucky bastards in the audience got to see my favourite Cave song performed live. JEALOUS! The time I noticed his tickets this year, they were all sold out. I was more than gutted.

  • Ignore that comment. Managed to get tickets to see this legend in November :)

  • This is definitely one of Cave's most powerful songs.

  • Powerful isn't even close to describe it :) . It's a punch straight to your heart.

  • A Warren-Blixa collaborative solo, now that's a fucking treat!

  • I love how this songs builds

  • That solo is sex. It is amazing.

  • MY GOD.

  • I was just thinking the same thing.

  • Live at Le Transbordeur? It's a part of God Is In The House DVD, isn't it?

  • hello... "Live in Paris .." ok...

  • still i'm quite certain tudosz is right.
