Ex: I see a lot of people at shows who are more interested in hitting people and pumping up their ego than actually having fun.

As a matter of fact, anarchy is the absence of order, and therefore chaos. You want peace? Start working o a concept called "universal ethics". There's an entire religious organization in Chicago focused on promoting this (and not religion). Additionally, exercise your human rights and everyone else's everyday.

Well, not to get political, but isn't claiming anarchism is better than other economic/political systems asserting anarchists thoughts of their own ideological superiority? Isn't superiority (one over the other, etc) asserting what anarchists suggest to abolish...authority? Anarchists think they are right, and hence have ideological superiority over others they disagree with in their heads. Plus, anarchists dont respect everyone, so how can it be the basis for their system.

@copkilling745 conservatism is no closer to anarchy than (American) liberal statism. The guns just change hands from cops and military to mercenaries and corporate enforcers. Look up 'company towns' during the early industrial revolution and you'll get a good sense of just how 'free' or 'anarchistic' unrestrainted economic conservatism is.

Anarchist = no government, no business, just people organizing spontaneously (like they have, do, and will everyday) and horizontally (like they have, do, and will everyday) to meet their needs and the needs of their community. @dredhorror Meh, I agree on the first statement but I can't agree with the second part unconditionally. Violence is a loaded word that needs unpacking before you start making statements about its use. Some examples of where the term goes quite hazy:
Spanish Civil War
Corpgov property destruction/sabotage
Self-defense (on any human level i.e. un-mediated by hierarchical institutions)
etc.
Not saying these are all always justified or efficacious examples, just warning against blanket statements
