  • I haven't yet read this book (although I plan to), but I do know some things about Ken Saro-Wiwa. I think it is wonderful that there is finally some more recognition for the cause of the Ogoni people, thank you.

On a separate note, I find it incredibly annoying that the interviewer is TELLING the people she is interviewing about things she only knows a little bit about. Completely inappropriate.

    Thank you again,

    Andrew

  • For some reason, I was never distracted by the female interviewer's appearance or clothing. In fact, I had to look at the video a second time to see what all the fuss was about. I still don't care about the interviewer. The subject matter and book sound very interesting. Ken Saro-Wiwa was (and still is) a role model for all people.

  • just read the book, great read

  • What is the deal with the slit mini-skirt, leather boots, and lapdog? Completely surreal when juxtaposed with the seriousness of this topic.

Very sad this issue has gotten so little attention though. But this is NOT how to do it.

  • But hey ... she actually read my book! Most people who interview me just read the blurb on the jacket, which is pretty annoying. Still, JeffAmerican, I agree with your comments wholeheartedly.

  • Looks like a great book but she is TERRIBLE!

  • she talks more than the person she is interviewing
