Maybe the judges should try singing that song. Very difficult to do. They said it was "boring"; that it started out slow. Maybe they should listen to the song!!!!! I think he did a good job.

Only a person with no spirituality would find that song boring, so I think those comments say more about them than about the song or singer...which was outstanding!

There is a definite difference between non-Christian and anti-Christian. Nothing they said was anti-Christian, they said it was unfortunate they were in a position to judge a song about one's faith because that isn't what it is about, strictly speaking the contest was about musical ability and stage presence. They didn't ever say anything negative about Christianity, only about one person's rendition of a Christian song. And they were right, it was hard to follow at first but got better.
