I understand your perspective. I've been dressing in a neo-Victorian way off and on for some time - only recently did I learn what steampunk as a genre was. Despite your perspective on their music, they did put on a good performance. Not to everyones tastes though - as you've illustrated.
Are you commenting on the people prancing about up front, or the band Abney Park?
I quite enjoyed the concert, and their recorded work is good too. Part of the reason I taped the crowd here, and not just the band was the entertaining 'dancing' a lot of people were doing. Self expression at its best - it's like people took the 80s song "Safety Dance" to heart. :D
Awesome band! I would love to watch them live some day.
