However trancemusic has been heading this way a while and people have starred to call it trouse (trance + house). If Steve Agnello is how you define trance, take a look at the song "everlasting" by Andy Blueman and see what sryle has modt common with this song...

@djjessebase10 noo steve angello is house mate. This is trance with house undertones, the drum line, elements of the bass. However the synth melodies are pure, euphoric, and trancey! you wouldn't find them in a Daft Punk or Thomas gold song would you?

@sheafy121 Well the melody is similar to "one more time" (structrewise)This track as a deep sidechained bassline and it actually has house drums. The bassdrum in trance are much harder and usually have more mid-frequency.

If you can't tell the difference I bet you just got into the genre. Trance is somewhat faster too, this sounds to be like 128-130 bpm, speed it up to 140 and add some detuned saw arpeggios and you'll have it, if the chords didn't progress that fast...

I have seen Mat Zo live so I wouldnt call myself new to the genre, and I have listened to TATW for more than a year. I find the old conformity of trance really not that pleasing. House and Trance are my two favourite electronic genres, so in theory this is perfect for me. + Mat Zo and Arty are leading the new trance scene with some success (Rebound, Frequency Flyer)

whatever you guys are calling "trouse" is probably more like axwell's "sweet disposition" remix, though thats still a tad more "progressive"

But for me trance is an emotion. So wonderful, I love it so much i bought all my mates tickets for a state of trance 550 in march. They dont even like trance that much, But i know the gig will change them :) I love trance sooooo much, its like my religion :)
