  • great cast, great story, great show

  • I saw this musical in SF back in February. No understudies, nothing. Alice Ripley blew me away with her fantastic singing and acting. Can't wait for it to come back to San Jose in 2013!

  • This musical saved my life.

  • When I was going to see it on broadway, I had no idea it would be this tearjerking. As I entered the theatre the posters all seemed pleasant in a stepford wives sort of way.

  • Ugh, this is a professional recording, just used for promo. I wish they would release it in full, somehow!

  • REALLY want this to come to London now!

  • This show though brilliant brought a lot of bad memories for me of my parents getting divorced three years ago. Which is one of the reasons why the show made me cry a lot. :'(

  • i love next to normal... so much

  • God damnit, Alice Ripley. You are so incredibly talented. I don't can't even find the words to describe how amazing it is. You are to acting what Idina Menzel is to singing.

  • Okay so I love the son. But I'm not very familiar with this musical-- why does he seem kind of evil at times? Lol

  • @ashleyGodsgirl because in a sense he is, its what makes it so beautiful and interesting

  • @ashleyGodsgirl he's not REALLY....well, not in the conventional way. But he's not in the conventional way anything really. He's a really complex character, and this is probably going to make no sense to you, but I don't want to spoil. But you should definitely check it out, you'd probably love the show.

  • @ashleyGodsgirl he;s actually dead. no one can see him but the mom. and she's crazy, he's a figment of her imagination. but she still believes he's alive sometimes.

  • @SoapStar4Life H

    How about a SPOILER ALERT

  • @jschames You learn that in like the 4th song of the musical. Its not really a spoiler. In fact by this point in the play the Audience already knows.

they learn in "He's Not Here"

  • @SoapStar4Life That doesn't change the fact that it's one of the biggest twists in the entire musical. I've already seen the musical but don't try to justify your spoiler...

  • so amazing
