With the exception of Paul's out of tune guitar, this about tight as I've heard this band live.

I've always thought Bob guitar sound was the perfect foil to Paul's songwriting talent. It would've been interesting had Bob stayed with the band longer- alcohol, drugs and manic depression just got the better of him. It almost got Paul too. Thankfully, he is still with us.

Oh well, think I'll drink a beer now and raise a toast to Robert Neil Stinson.

Wish I was living in 80s america(I may get a backlash for that on) to listen to these guys and a hold load of 80s alternative bands that have sucked me in. Just this summer I've gone and found Westerberg's albums of the past decade (somehow missed them) and am still amazed, fortified. The combo of Stereo/Mono is damn near perfect and Tremble does the old trick: brash and sad, down but never out.
