I hope you guys know that Flyleaf IS CHRISTIAN. I don't have a problem with anyone who isn't religious, but I just think it's funny when you're listening to Flyleaf talk about God and you like it, then you fight with other people in the comments of their songs about religion :P Can't we all just like the MUSIC? They are an amazing band and I think it's so great that people who are not religious like them too. That just proves how amazing they are :)

Anyways... Flyleaf is one of my favorite bands(: Atheist, Catholic, Christian, etc. I love this band and their music regardless. Looove Lacey's voice too.

They want people to believe they are a christian band when they start because its easier to gain support that way. Then they slowly begin to drift away from that concept until, like Skillet and Red, they are looked at as pure rock groups. Personally, im not a christian, but I do agree that this is an excellent song by a great band.

this song could be about anything. it depends on how you interpret it, but to me it's about suicide. i used to be suicidal, and i STILL to this day have a problem with cutting and I'm still depressed, but this song makes me feel like SOMEONE understands. @mrpoopfartinmyass that's funny because in an interview she said they weren't. She said yes, they ate all Christians, and that if THAT was what made them a Christian band then that's what they were, but since it isn't-they aren't a Christian band. So yes, really..

@IZZABELable Okay, Just to clear this up with some logic: If every member of a band is a Christian and puts their faith in God, and most of their music reflects those beliefs, YES, they are considered a Christian band. While some of their music has no relation to God, they are still considered to be a Christian band and a light to the world. I'm a Christian artist myself, yet not all of my music is about God and my trust in Him. It's just like Skillet. Totally a Christian band..

I think it's talking about a guy who dumped a girl and now he's coming back and is asking her out again and shes turning him down, which is the way it is in my life. this song could be about anything. it depends on how you interpret it, but to me it's about suicide. i used to be suicidal, and i STILL to this day have a problem with cutting and I'm still depressed, but this song makes me feel like SOMEONE understands. Wednesday is my 1 week anniversary of NO CUTTING!!! thanks to the best friend i couldn't live without, JARED!!! thanks man! lol ,but it just feels nice to think that ppl could understand my pain haha! ;p
