Thank god this was released on the SNES where an emulator and rom of this game are easy to find.... this game was by far the best game with the best story, and yes the best soundtrack in the series.

FF7 was great and all, but it didnt hold a candle to FF6 overall. FF7 lived on the greatness of FF6 and had the 1 defining moment that was stronger than any other in any game ever: when Seph killed Aries.

I'm about halfway through learning this piece -- nice and fun finger exercise, well worth the effort. The awesome music aside (really one of the best pieces uematsu has ever written), your performance is really nice. Would love a higher quality re-recording though ;-)

Personally, I think XIV is worse but 6 is a close second (no jokes, i felt it not too true to the ff formula, kefka, terra, and most characters and music are overrated, but in the case of terra theme, thats the only thing in the game i dont find overrated.). Decent, but not a masterpiece. I prefer FF4 storyline, in my opinion, it had better twist and characters.

@nothingespecial1 Final Fantasy 4, 6, and Tactics tend to be regarded as the best Final Fantasy games to-date. I played all of them when they came out and I can't say which is better than which, although one thing is for certain, 6 had an excellent and very memorable score. You may not like 6 at all, but the majority of people who've played it seem to hold a different opinion.

Tina is the actual name of the "esper lady" It's an exotic name in Japanese, however it's not so exotic in English. Thus why Ted Woolsey translated her name to Terra. Which is a rare name, but not exotic (trying to tone down the sexiness of the game to pass Nintendo's Nazi Censor Boards)

Pretty bad call on the teacher's part. There really isn't anything hard, you just gotta keep practicing. Do you scales and arppeggio's to build dexterity, classic music is a joke to some of the game music transcribed to piano. It all comes down to what you want to do, and how much will power you have to do it.

Octaves are like, theres middle c, the c above it.. etc. They are the same note an octave apart. 12chromatic pitches above.
