  • MAN SO DUM

  • Great post! This is one of my favorite movies! Thanks!!!!!

  • great scene!

  • lol thos blocks of ice will be melted by the time they get home...

  • @SunsetShadows1 my grandfather used to do that.

  • Anybody know this version of 'Fly Away' is called? I bought the soundtrack solely for this song and they didn't even put it on!

  • 4 people didn't get any pie.

  • I want one of those old cars haha

  • Love this movie!!! Love all the songs and music in it! Didn't think bluegrass was this good. Love the soundtrack!!

  • Man I tell you what this movie is still one of the best movies I've seen, PLUS my beautiful can sing this song so well

  • My father will turn 75 next month and I am giving him this soundtrack. He's such a great guy who just loves this kind of music and I think he's never seen this movie, so I am going to stun him. :)

  • @GreyLupine You should buy him the movie too. My older brother bought it for my Dad's 73rd birthday a number of years ago and my Dad loved it.

  • I loved this movie especially the music!

  • the soudtrack doesnt havr this version, just look for the kossoy sisters.

  • 3 people cant fly

  • even I don't like country music, I still think this film got the best soundtrack ever

  • @MOlLlLUSCO It was more bluegrass than country. And I love it.

  • @TheUnNerved Well actually this is called hillbilly music, you can tell because there's no base, and bluegrass came into the picture about 1947 and rounded out with the essentials such as guitar, mandolin, fiddle and base. Later the dobro worked it's way in there but that was Josh graves which was about 55 and then for country dobro at the time and even in the late 40's was Bashful Brother Oswald. Such a kind man, all of them, better times and better people.

  • @alanyoung2 wow, thank you

  • @kocnn Well i forgot banjo.lol but your welcome and God bless.

  • @alanyoung2 That's where you'd be wrong. Hillbilly and bluegrass are one and the same all apart of the larger old-timey genre. It's all about location, all of the instruments are the same and the sounds are similar. Internet is your friend.

  • @TheUnNerved Sorry but you're wrong, hillbilly has no bass, you can hear the guitar strumming the bass line. Bill Monroe formed the first bluegrass band in 47, they went and played the Opry and there is a new genre. I've been playing for 16 years so i should know.

  • yvonne

  • TU, when my late husband was battling his cancer, we watched and loved this movie. I included this wonderful song as part of his memorial svc. George Cloonery is always battling his good looks. Your lasting legacy is THIS movie. Touched so many lives you don't even know. You have achieved your Soul Purpose. TU. Bless you.
