@z24supersexy His talk was on the subject of "increasing revenue" too the government. The subject was not "cuts". I am sure if you search you can find a speech that was on that subject.  When making a speech that is restrained by time, which all are, if only for the span of the audiences' attention, you stick to the subject at hand. That is why he did not go into spending cuts during this speech. That was not the subject.

So yes the mayority of the speech was on jobs and increasing revenue, but they closed on the subject of spending cuts. Which is good, but I wanna know where he feels the cuts should come from. I plan on calling his congressional offices to get an answer.

There's nothing new about the "common sense" approach to running our government. the problem is... it's the public that thinks in those terms and not the government. The senator's in this video said NOTHING new regarding job creation and spending cuts that the public hasn't been saying for the past decade. It's refreshing however to finally hear a handful of congressional members waking up to reality.
