I am a voluntary singer singing for disabled groups and elderly in Residential Care homes aged 67.All I ask from managers is a donation of £20 UK sterling which is going towards the running cost of a New built Childrens Hospice in my home town of St Austell Cornwall UK.

I sing a variety of songs and just love your version of this Glenn Miller number which is in my Key and can sing it.Would you permit I use this in my fund raising venture, I have down loaded it? Thanks and love your playing.

i have listened this song maybe a thousand times in a year and im 49 now because this is my father's and my favorite song. you almost made a replica of the original arrangement of glenn miller except that there's a bad chord at 0.46, 1.26, 2.33 and 3.4. nevertheless your performance is beyond outstanding. please keep up the good work.

In Zukunft wird es nicht mehr viele Videos von mir geben. Ich möchte mich beruflich weiterbilden und werde dadurch immer weniger Zeit haben. Die Erstellung eines Videos in vernünftiger Qualität kostet mich viel Zeit (üben, Klänge erstellen, Schlagzeug programmieren, aufnehmen, abmischen, hochladen). Und ich mache das Alles ja als Hobby (und somit unentgeltlich) in meiner eh schon knappen Freizeit.

Vielen Dank Urs. Natürlich ist die Technik nicht das Wichtigste in der Musik, aber wie ich bereits Dieter geschrieben habe, muss man sich auch als (Hobby-)Musiker ein bißchen mit der Technik auseinandersetzen um dem Ganzen das "Sound-Sahnehäubchen" aufzusetzen.

In diesem Video konnte ich leider meine Sound-Vorstellungen nicht ganz verwirklichen, da mir eine Hand fehlt, mit der ich live (!) die führende Klarinette über den Saxophonen spielen kann. Ich habe jedoch auf meiner Website eine Version hochgeladen, bei der ich die Klarinette nachträglich dazugespielt und -gemischt habe.

many thanks for your compliment. I like your version very much, it is nearer to the original. And i think the saxes with the clarinet above sounds better in your version. Hallo Dieter,

vielen Dank für das Lob. Ich gebe Dir Recht, um gute Sounds zu produzieren, reicht es oft aus sich mit dem vorhandenen Equipment zu beschäftigen und hier auch mal zu experimentieren. Wobei ich natürlich fairerweise zugeben muss, dass hier auch das VST-Instrument Hypersonic von Steinberg zum Einsatz gekommen ist. Außerdem habe ich die, über den PC aufgenommene Audio-Datei im Videoschnitt-Programm noch ein bißchen veredelt (EQ, Kompressor, Stereoverbreiterung).
