Good question. This is only my opinion, but the movie "Octopus" is the best & only giant squid movie who is great. I wish there was more. But I do also love Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, but that is a guilty pleasure of mine, because i also love "some" cheesy B-movies. lol

The movie "Deep Rising" is also awesome & the creature is similar to an Octopus, check it out if you haven't seen it yet. By the way. I haven't seen "The Beast" from 1996 yet, maybe that movie could be a good Giant squid movie?
