Elvis gave Ed the 78rpm record shortly after he recorded it.

Few now believe it was for Gladys Presley's birthday.

nope, as far as I know the B-side was "That's when your heartaches begin", which is posted on youtube as well. just heard it for the first time too. it was a direct recording onto the record, so there is no tape existing and these recordings come directly from that one very record.

Well as i know this Version was the Original Single for his mother (also Old shep in my knowledge on the same Single or i think 78 RPM)
