I think this is actually the BEST Hello Fan-Made-Video I've ever seen!

You put the scenes together perfectly (although I think when she sings 'I know I'm not sleeping' the scene is not the best).

In my opinion it's the most emotional and nicest video made with Sims scenes.

You deserve definitely 5 Stars!

Thank you for your critique, though for this video, I initially had more to it and decided to cut other sims out and focus more on the story of the song in itself. I didn't want to crowd it with other sims. You'd probably be surprised at this response, but I spent more time shooting and had well over 100 clips to choose from to form this story. I spent less time editing. :)

Try doing a web search on sims 2 cheats. You can find a huge list, or just look up movie making cheats or tips for sims 2. There are a number of tutorials out there that can help give advice on what to do.

lol I boot the game up in debug cheat mode to access all cheats. It can mess up the game though if you do it. Cheats needed boolprop testingcheatsenabled true :)

Assuming you have all exps... When a sim dies, the grim reaper appears. The sim's body disappears and a gravestone appears. You have a chance of ressurecting the sim, if another sim is on the property. You can then get a fully restored sim or a zombie sim, otherwise you'll have a ghostly sim that appears randomly.... there are a few ways to kill a sim...

My Sim never died in order to create this video. I used the "walk like a ghost" cheat to create the effect as well as an invisible skin to make her appear ghostlike. :)

But, what about the fire? It didn't look like there was a way out? And the coming out of the grave? I just want to know how you did it.

The fire came from simslice. It was a "pet fire" It doesn't harm the sims. It's just an animated fire. The coming out of the grave was used with a hack that allows teleporting. The teleporting causes the glowing blue to appear. I just edited it to make it look like she was coming out of the grave. :)

It required a lot of movie clips of her talking, editing, timing, and slowing the clips down, to make the illusion of her singing.

It's a beautiful video, but shouldn't have been made a video in the first place. This song is dedicated to Amy Lee's sister who died when she was 3 years old, and that's why it had never been performed live.

I do not consider anything morally wrong from a personal viewpoint of Amy Lee regarding this video. I understand about Amy Lee's situation regarding her sister.

Amy Lee has a song out there regarding it and has let the public hear it... not because she doesn't want the public to hear her sing it live but because it has been difficult for her to do so.

If you do a youtube search you can find a video of Amy Lee herself singing this "live" or at least... a home video of her singing it...

No offense taken. What I meant is.. She hasn't performed it live, not because she hasn't wanted to. It's just a hard memory for her that causes her to break down. An audience wouldn't pay to see her cry but to hear her sing. One day she might be able to do it. :)
