This is telugu song. Ramadasu is a great devotee of Rama. Because he built a temple for Rama, The muslim king imprisons him. When is being totured, he sings, this song.Asking God, why are you not talking, has your words become so valuable as gold that you dont want to utter a word also in favor of me? Then he goes on to give examples of different instances where Rama had shown grace. He begs for mercy and asks why Lord is being stubborn that he is not showing any grace.This is just the gist.
