ROD BARAJAS is a bum. It should be Santos and Thole in a platoon. And the idea of Barajas starting and Thole backing up is terrible. Thole has to play every day or at least platoon. And Santos has had so many clutch hits for the Mets. The Mets need a clutch hitter like Santos.
Lets not forget that he was with Toronto, which means he caught for Halladay; Hopefully he knows how he works and will give tips to batters how to face him. Lets go Mets!
Honestly, I believe Barajas is officialy the starter, and Omar said Blanco is the backup. Santos is gone, and Thole's almost certainly going to AAA, unless he has a monster spring.

very good point that could very well factor in to how Doc does in the NL East. and also weather or not barajas claims the starting job

Pitchers like Halladay are guys you can't figure out. There is no way Barajas can give the Mets any tips in trying to solve a pitcher like Halladay.
