That being said, obviously it would be preferable to have a president who's actively pushing for the FairTax like Herman Cain. The only thing that would worry me is that if they fail in their herculean effort we'll be stuck with our current tax code, unaltered. They need to be willing to fight the fight for as long as it takes to win it but also work to reform our current tax system in the interim.
Oh, PAW-LE-E-E-ASE! You should AT LEAST know what you are talking about! There IS a provision PLAINLY right in the bill (HR25/S13) that says, IF the 16th amendment is not repealed, the bill is null , so it is IMPOPSSIBLE to end up with both taxes! BUT, -- The FLAT TAX BILL,... oh that's right , THERE IS NO Flat Tax Bill-- no research and no details, -- JUST TO TRICK YOU into another Jerry-Mandering of the Marxist Income Tax! ONLY the FairTax is F-A-I-R! The others are just FLAT-tery!
I'm a huge supporter of the FairTax; I also like the Flat Tax--it would be a far superior alternative to our current system--but the FairTax is clearly the more moral, growth-oriented and safe from regressing back to the previous tax code. That being said, while T-Paw is clearly wrong on the possibility of both tax systems being in place at once, there is a legitimate point to be made that repealing the 16th Amendment may be unfeasible, at least to do anytime soon.
Pawlenty has not read the bill. He needs someone to explain it to him. The FairTax is an actual bill (unlike the flat) that is researched and formulated to repeal the 16th amendment. It is also unamendable to keep congress from enacting both an income and consumption tax.
hes a tough guy when it comes to beating up of female opponants, till they fight back, then he runs away like a bitch.
