Where do these nurses think the money comes from to pay their salaries? State Medicaid coffers are going bankrupt. Medicare in near insolvency. Private insurers will have to raise the cost of their premiums. This on top of all the illegal aliens who skip out on their medical bills. And who use the emergency room for their primary care physician. GET REAL people. These $40.00 per hour nurses are taking you to the cleaners.

ok fine - you go to work - do the work of 5 people and then have your bosses tell you - sorry - i know it is 10pm now and you are set to go home on a few hours but we'll need you back at 5am tomorrow for a 12 hour shift. oh you have kids...too bad! oh ya and by the way -- hope you didnt really want your pension because we're taking that too

HOW can we be misinformed?? The hospitals' proposal is from THEIR website??? What could we be missing?

@janethochule It's all in how people misread things. Half the things I hear fellow nurses talking about on the floors at work has been misinterpreted by someone reading the proposals, who then gets angry about what they THINK they read and spreads it around to everyone that will listen...
