para dextrogiro: el avion venia con problemas en el tren derecho. que no se extendiò y al momento de tocar... hubo que apagar los motores para evitar que las helices se destruyan y los daños sean mayores y puedas haber fuego.. por eso se procede al corte de combustible del lado de esos motores.
He knew the starboard gear was suspect and kept the weight off it as long as he could. The crash crews were on alert in expectation of a problem, hence the immediate response. Nice flying.
@happyapple96 They don't. They're all isolated incidents, this is not design flaw. Besides, if you're trying to bring the SAS Q400s into the discussion, it was determined by the Swedish Civil Aviation Bureau that SAS was found negligent on the gear failures: they were not maintaining the Dash8s per standard and were cutting costs with nonstandard parts.

My friend who is a pilot says they have a special name for this type of landing called a "tits up landing".
