Absolutely bloody fantastic - listening to the band raises the hairs on my arms and watching these guys on parade makes me swell with pride as it should for each and every Brit!
Not yet, we only have 2 front line squadrons with another for conversion and one more for evaluation, the RAF plans for more TND F3 squadrons to transfer to the type but as uaual its a slow process.
However they can be seen around the middle od England quite often ^^
It was good to see my son in this video again. He is currently on 'operations' and his mum and I miss him very much. Good luck to all the lads and return safe.
We dont go out on Parade or anything really aside from large Division Reviews in my case. I was in the 82nd Airborne Division. Even when we came back from deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.
I was able to do a unit exchange with 1 Para and jump with them back in 2002. It was fun and I have a lot of respect for those guys.
Think they are given the FREEDOM of the city, here it is an honour bestowed by the town and means little nowadays. It is however a great honour to reicieve and a big part of british respect for a person or persons to get. If you look up you will see many USA forces have this in many grateful towns
if its not QCS why is the parade commander calling queens colour squadron? Also why are they doing Guards drill instead of RAF drill? RAuxAF dont do many parades in number 1s
Love Eagle Squadron.

i have the worlds unwavering respect for the RAF
they are the greatest military organisation in britain
within 20 years of its formation they stopped the invasion of britian by the worst enemy we have faced at the time
my grandad fought with the RAF in suez in 1956so i love these guys this is another saulte to him.
i tried to join in the RAF regiment but i turned out to be colour blind
i now live in Australia and i miss seeing

The "civic" procession with the councillors was a bit embarrassing. "Quick March" indeed.

Yup! I spotted that. More a case of "civic procession, by the center quick amble" couldnt the guy leading them at least get a haircut too :)

need to add tags queens colour squadron and raf regiment to this clip
phil2465 5 years ago
Is that the QCS there? Agree that RAF Regt tag should be there. Is there anything smarter than a SQN or FLT of Regt on parade?
