  • Hi Lance. I loved hering you playing "Holy, Holy, Holy" so beautifully on the Organ. Judging by the many comments, it's still very popular. Up until 1973, it was Hymn Number 1 in our Scottish Hymnary. Keep them coming, Lance! Charlie.

  • how big of a transposer does that organ have?

Nice playing by the way!!! :-)

  • Thanks - I am not sure, I have never used the transposer, I transpose in my head to raise or lower a key. Thanks for visiting.

  • This hymn sent a shiver up my spine when I heard at my Stepson's graduation from Eston College last spring. When I hear it I go back to when I was a youngster and the United Church used this one as the anthem to open Sunday Services. To me it is still a moving hymn with which to praise God.

  • Very well played i remember this hymn at school during the 80s at school being sung in assembly in lichfield england

when i heard it it it brought back memories i think it its great to be able to hear it again especially with the noise cancelling headphones

  • My mom used to sing this hymn all the time. Every time I hear it, I remember her -- with a tear. Thanks for posting it.

  • WOW!!!!!!! i really like this song, amazing rendition

  • To bad ratings have been disabled. I can't like this. This is awesome and a awesome song.

  • I'm having some difficulties in my life right now and listening to this music has been uplifting for my soul. My deepest thanks to you.

  • @pegasigirl2010 may God bless you with the courage to carry on.

  • My church congregation sings this to the organ a couple times every year. But you play it better.

  • Ohh this is beyond awesome.

  • Always an inspiration, organpipe8.

  • Amazing development of this song, which is a prayer to God in the Holy Trinity. It is a pity that there is no translation of this song in Polish. I`m very impressed. I wish you all the graces of God, I will remember you in prayer. Greetings from Warsaw (Poland)

    Peter Pawlak

Organist of the Parish of Our Lady Queen of Angels (Warsaw Bemowo)

  • One of the best hymns ever. Period.

  • Thank you for reminding me why I play the organ.

I'm not a digital fan, but I would not mind having one of those for my home. Occasionally, the Catholic church in town will open their doors for me and let me play their little (wonderful) pipe organ. Other than that: It's good ol' Hammond time.

  • please i will like to attend any church that plays all this songs with the organ in the united state

  • From Argentina for you. Arribe to the Cristian Congragation in the United State. and thanks on my behalf and greetings with the holy peace of God to all my brothers in North America. Román

  • I don't go to church anymore but as a kid when Mom forced me to I remember this song oh so well as I sat there so bored. But I always loved the church organ.

  • even better with headphones as you said!! :D If I ever get married I want you to play at my wedding :)

  • You're welcome †

  • God bless you, my dear. Jesus SOOO loves you, and so do we!

  • Lance, these hymn videos of yours are great! Thank you so much for posting them. I currently play organ at a mid-sized Presbyterian church in Pennsylvania. I think it's amazing that you are able to get such a "big organ" sound out of what appears to be a smaller instrument. For those of us who are curious, might you list the organ registration on your info page? Thanks in advance. Take care, and God bless!

  • You're welcome and thanks for visiting ♫♪♫

  • Blessed be the name of His triune holiness!!!!

  • Very nice....I go a step further and modulate to E natural on the last stanza and try to pick a fairly firey reed (but not too loud) for the last few measures. This hymn is one of my personal favorites. I'll put this video in my favorites!

    Hallelijah...Jesus is Lord!!!!

  • I'm Roman Catholic and I cantored this song a while ago.

  • to jest na prawdę wspaniałe wykonanie po prostu extra †

  • Beautiful rendition, especially on today, The Feast of the Holy Trinity in the Roman Catholic Church. You do it masterfully, and your version of the Catholic Hymn To Jesus Chirst Our Sovereign King was wonderful for someone playing by memory. I wish I had your talent.

  • Thank you, I try my best ♫

  • I share your thoughts on the organist's skill and performance. However, Trinity Sunday is not exclusive nor specific to the RC church as we celebrate it and we are Anglican. The words were written by Reginald Heber, an Anglican missionary bishop,to India. It's now sung in many Chistian denominations.

  • As do we Lutherans, and all the liturgical churches.

  • I sang this song this morning at Church and listening to your version...well...it would have been better this morning if you were playing it. You do it so beautifully. It is amazing the power of the organ. Thank you so much for doing this recording.

    God Bless

Thanks again for watching, share the channel with you other Christian Relatives and Friends †

  • Do you use pedals?

  • Yes but on this organ there are only 13 short pedals and I can only use the left foot, some of my other video's show them. Very difficult to play after 35 years with a Full AGO Pedal Board...

  • Before the church age was over (1988) I used to hear this every Sunday Morn. It is such an awe-inspiring song.

  • I always took communion to this song.

    Notre Dame church, Ogdensburg, NY

  • Isaiah 12:6 Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion . .

What a talent you have been blessed with!

    Thanks so much!

  • Why Thank You but I am just the medium, GOD provides my talent, HE makes my fingers move ;-)

  • Hey Lance, can't tell you how many times I have sung and heard this hymn played being Lutheran and of course never tire of doing so......thanks for playing it. peace out.
