  • Am I able to combine 2 snares together in this drum kit customization?

  • Hello , I have a question. When I hook up my Korg M50 to Cubase. I want to use the Drum editor in Cubase to write drums. But it seems Korg has a different drummap. Is there a way to set the Korg M50 drums to match the General midi drummap?

  • I'd like to ask is it possible to change the background color of the screen?

  • how can i get those tutorial in spanish please

  • how do i import my midi song to the m50

  • I'm having the same problem. I was excited about setting up my own drum set but it doesn't show up as one of the user options when I go to sequencer mode either. This is some of the few times that I wished I was an oboe player!!!!! ha! help! thanks, Carl

  • @cwherod Also to bsale9183, depending on your MIDI setup, go to GLOBAL mode and change the Bank Mode from GM2 to Korg. If this doesn't work, please call our Product Support department for more help.

  • Hey, I need an answer to an obvious problem, if you dont mind. I can make a custom kit just fine but how do I send it to one of the user kits available in the program slots g(m). I would like to use the kit in sequencer mode but can not send the kit out of the global setup. Is there anything you can tell me that Im missing. Sorry to bother. Thanks for your time.

  • Thanks for answering my questions. Got a couple more:

    1. How do I layer 2 sounds on the M3?

    2. How do I record what I play in PROG mode?

    3. How do I split the keyboard to play say bass on the left end and guitar on the right half?

  • 1. Check out one of our other videos "Creating Combis- In The Studio with Korg." It's done on an M50, but works on M3 as well.

    2. Hold ENTER and press REC to quickly record a new song with the same Program and effects that you're currently using.

    3. This is also covered in the "Creating Combis" video.

  • I looked for this, but didn't find it, how can I get the ribbon controller to use for strumming? Also what's the function of the Compare button?

  • The ribbon controller (on the M3, not the M50) can create strumming gestures using the "manual advance" function in KARMA. For a preset example of this in the M3, check out the first Combi in the Guitar/Plucked category, called "Gentle Guitar SW1,2,Rbn)." Play a chord on the keys, then strum it using the ribbon.

  • The COMPARE button allows you to compare your edited version of a sound with the previously saved version. If you make changes to a sound, and want to quickly reference your starting point, you can use the COMPARE button to toggle back and forth.

In SEQ mode, this button performs undo/redo.

  • How the heck do you turn off this metronome ?

It's driving me crazy and the manual doesn't tell you and it should be so simple to do -help !!!

  • While you're in SEQ mode, touch the "Preferences" tab. On the bottom you'll see "Metronome Setup." You can choose from "Only REC," "REC & Play,"or "Off." Just for future reference, this is on page 140 of your Parameter Guide, which is on the included CD-ROM.

  • I have an M50 and I'm totally surprised what Korg do for musicians who have these keyboards.. Thanks for these tutorials!!

  • I have an M3 and these tutorials are really useful. They contain so many tips about things I never would have found myself. Thank you.

  • Thanks for this, would love to see all functions covered in the end.
