  • this is my house~ this is my dream house~ the teacher is so mean~ :'(

  • My neighbours were of various ethnic races when I was growing up in K.L.. We shared everything.

It was very hard times in the 70's K. L.

We took care of each others children, played with each other and visited each other during the various festivities and most importantly, we talked to each other without even realizing the race, colour and creed of our friends.

In the 80's...we became aware of our religion..thanks to the media. That's when all the problems started.

  • @asusay You must missed that...I dont even have that

  • @asusay

yes....i(i am a mlay muslim btw) have to strongly agree with you...we were 1Malaysia back then but sadly not anymore...it is uphill climb..

  • Materialism and stereotyping is indeed the problem for todays world, im not saying that these two things are solely the problem from root, but overdoing something is just not good. As an old saying goes , too much anything is a bad thing. Sure, materialism shows the culture of our entire race and indeed stereotyping is efficient. As evolution shows, no human brain is superior than the other during the first moments of life, in other words, no race is superior than the other

  • Furthermore, i would like to express the students and the teacher that ridiculed the boy are just being human ( or i would like to say a type -1 civilization individuals ( and yes its negative one, search it up on wikipedia if you dont know what that means), humans feed on the weak or in this case, people who are less superior than themselves, just to feel good or to replenish their pride; Synonymously, Mammals with a higher brain capacity(ie. Elephants, Dolphins) have the same characteristic.

  • You superficial people only dwell into the race aspect of the whole film, indeed it is quite obvious at the end- the pluming of the model house and the actual house, still.. humans are no less different from animals, the only difference from us and animals is our logic and reason - which seems like our society is lacking due to the belief of superstitious dogma. Nevertheless, i am a utterly sad to say, Racism is indeed an unnecessary evolution scar for todays world

  • Hey....Sukarnia in this video!!!! Admire your acting!

  • perfect video for "mata duitan"

  • i think this video has nothing to do with racist.. come one guys.. think outside of the box... now imagine this video only 1 race who act in it... and u will find smthing...

  • he can take my shit as a model 4 his house. long live paria , im not racist but im a pariacist

  • i just dont get it in the end of this video?.

  • malaysia oh malaysia

  • This is a sad one ;(

  • great video ..it creates awareness for a "race" that are being neglected for so long even though their existence are already as long as other races..

  • Sorry to say but just see in 'bersamamu'. How many percent of other races' plight was shown in there? How about those orang asli? or sabahans and sarawakians?

By the way, this 5min of short film is the BEST I've ever seen. THUMBS UP FOR THEM.

  • DAMN..chinese and malay are not that cruel!

  • @PeaceF0rc3s take note, the indian teacher also laugh at the boy when he presented his project of a dream house... this tell us... that people will bully and look down on those who have nothing! and nothing to do with racist... its more of a look down to those will poor back ground regardless ur indian, chinese, kadazan, iban, malay etc....but, in this short flim its a indian boy...

  • we say we re 1 in nation but not in class...

  • this is the best short film among others.. this is the reality we faced in Malaysia.. not only indians.. malays and other races face the same situation... while politicians making money.. the poors suffered!!

  • see most of the comments posted for this video are very emotional. I used to believe Malaysians are very racist. Looking back at these comments has made me understand that Malaysians are truly kind at heart. Am proud to have you all fellow malaysians as brothers and sisters!. Its the politicians that create the separation between the people. Not the general public. Kudos Malaysia.

  • Heart wrenching and brought me to tears, esp seeing Late Yasmin at the end of the video. May Allah protect the people of Malaysia, regardless of which race or religion you believe in.

Always believe that, if you cannot get your racial rights, you can always get your HUMAN rights.

  • this is rasist! dem!

  • if the goverment is changed, the system can oso be changed.goverment can do a lot things on these situation.

  • yup...totally agree...if can change a new goverment maybe we can solve these situation

  • changing a government can't change this. We can change sumthing but the system will only allow the same result. Corrupted men are not from one party.

  • The best movie out of the 15

  • the sad truth behind development

  • Thanks for the video very touching to everyone of us. and the one thing is about the Teacher. He's a bit insulting to the indian student which is myself not agree the way he showing the house infront of class. I've believe this actually happen in our own country. Corruption .Unfair and Discrimination..

  • a dream house is a house with love.

if you live in a big house alone, it is nothing!!!

  • this is by far one of the best of 15 msia...

  • Fucking Govt knows Rasuah ONLY!

  • very touching video story. actually our government should concern about the situation..

  • know RASUAH only.

  • This is the most video i like.. ..

    为什么政府能做出这种影片来反映社会...

    却不会自我反省呢??

    You are right

  • thanks for a beautiful video.

  • this is all so real... and so sad.

  • 凭我的感觉...

    为什么政府能做出这种影片来反映社会...

    却不会自我反省呢??

    有钱就能为所欲为...

    没钱就要被人看扁吗??

  • My heart dropped when I watch the poor Indian lady crying when the construction workers wanted to tear down the house.

Makes me remember how blessed I am to have a proper shelter above my head.

  • i couldnt agree more. i was already on the verge of shedding tears looking at how that boy was downcasted. well played and most importantly portrayed!

  • this is my favourite. IT was so terribly real, and every malaysian kid has at one point in time built that silly model of the dream house. I almost cried looking at the despairing mother. and the worst part is these things DO happen in our country.

  • yes. agreed. the saddest part is that it does happen. hope this becomes more visible to all malaysians. you all should realize with little dreams like this we are who we are now! i am no more in malaysia but what happens there still concerns me and most certainly a heartache for all the things that happens!!

  • hw to watch the full video clips?

  • Malaysia ... truly Asia ... ONE Malaysia??? Long way to go lah. Long way!

  • like kg buah pala

  • exactly~

  • the indian kid wear the same slippers i wore last time !! asadi~ XD

  • i remember back in primary school there was a project something like this..

There was 1 dude who build his house out of somesort of lego piece..

Then another dude build his one out of jsut cardboard..

The teacher scolded the lego dude for like wasting money on a mere project while the teacher told him compare to the cardboard who used his resources well..

  • so touching...

  • very good story...

  • gud show..is meaningful n touchy..

  • kg. buah pala?

  • We had too many of these stories , now is all up to a " Better Govt " to initiate the fine tune of what we had missed. Sorry to offend those who are very religious. I always think in multi racial society, humanity should be our focus and religion come second, then we will live in harmony. Many times if anyone put religion as top priority and NO END to all the differences among races when come to religion. All of us knew, didn't we?

  • i like this one..very touching..it comes with a very good mssg of cos..so people, we have to constantly remind ourselves to help each other no matter what race/religion we are/profess to bring up a better Malaysia/Malaysian.

  • Sad but truely happening. Well done.

  • The rich shall help the poor; the majority shall support the minority. Our country is vice versa, what's wrong with our policy?

  • princess, don't judge too early..we still have good majority who take care between one another. Don't too rely on government to do everything. That is why we are Malaysians..

  • this is very touching video, feel sad & reality is often ugly and hard to watch no one should be left out in our own country.

  • this is great....a meaningful and touchy one....

  • R.I.P yasmin...we will miss u 4ever!!!
